Jerry Morales

Jerry Morales was born and raised in Amarillo, TX. Ever since he was young, he knew he wanted to work as a lawyer in his hometown. In 2005, he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and graduated magna cum laude. Then Jerry attended the University of Texas School of Law and earned his J.D. in 2008.

After practicing law in Austin, TX, Jerry founded Jerry Morales Law in 2009. His law office focuses on family law, criminal law, business law, and estate planning. Jerry is experienced in divorces, modifications, felonies, misdemeanors, DWIs, DUIs, business and corporate law, and general litigation.

 Jerry has two little girls named Grace and Berklee. When he’s not spending time with his family, Jerry likes to go golfing, fishing, and hunting. He’s active in the community and serves as a board member for two local non-profit organizations: Teen Christmas and Joint Alliance for Students.

Meet the team

  • Naomi graduated from Amarillo College with her associate degree in applied science in the fall of 2012 and has worked for the Law Office of Jerry Morales since March 2012. Working for Mr. Morales has allowed Naomi to gain knowledge and develop her skills in all areas of law, including probate, real estate, criminal, and family law, while working in a comfortable atmosphere under a down-to-earth attorney.

    Naomi helps Jerry Morales Law primarily on the Family Law cases, so she has extensive experience in divorce, child custody, adoption, contempt, and modification actions. She uses her considerable multitasking skills and customer service experience to help families in transition by providing detailed support to Mr. Morales and his clients. From complex custody cases to simple uncontested divorces, she is involved from beginning to end. Naomi assists clients by providing regular contact and updates, managing the discovery process, maintaining the case calendar and deadlines, and drafting pleadings and letters. She also maintains all document production and the client case file and is essential in assisting Mr. Morales in preparing for mediations, hearings, and trials.

    Being in a small office gives Naomi many different hats to wear, including managing day-to-day operations as the office manager to make sure the business runs smoothly. Naomi is involved with the legal community as well and has been a part of the Panhandle Family Law Association for three years and is now serving as a board director.

    Naomi has a passion for family law and has a big heart for children, being that she and her husband Isiah have a blended family of seven children as well as one grandson. She spends the majority of her time outside of work with her family, enjoying each other’s company. Whether playing cards or board games to shuffling kids around between various gyms or sporting events, Naomi loves being with her family and is always there in whatever is needed of her.

  • Jessica Mederos is the Immigration Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Jerry Morales. Jessica has been part of the Law Office since May 11, 2015. Jessica was born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico and has lived in the United States since she was four. She is happily married and has three children. She loves to travel, especially when her children compete in a sport. Jessica is a self-motivated learner that thrives accomplishment. Jessica loves her job and the flexibility it provides to be with her children and would have it no other way. Jessica is bilingual speaking fluent Spanish. She attended Amarillo College Legal Studies Program, and the Judicial Branch Certification Commission to obtain certification as a court interpreter. Jessica started her career in the legal field at her first job at sixteen years old. Jessica helps with Immigration cases such as Deferred Act for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Renewals, Replacement/Renewals of Permanent Resident Cards, Pardons, FOIA’s, Visa Process and path to Citizenship. Jessica also serves as the office interpreter, she translates for clients in the office, jail, or in court room settings.

  • Receptionist

    Senaida Arras Medrano is the receptionist at the Law Office of Jerry Morales. Sam completes administrative and clerical tasks; she is responsible for office correspondence, such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and setting reminders to the team of upcoming dates and deadlines. Sam also helps draft legal documents, including simple Motions, Appearances, and Hearing Notices. In addition, Sam oversees the filing in our office and serves as our court interpreter or interprets for office consultations and jail visits.

    Senaida was born and raised in Hereford, Texas. Sam attends the United Theological Seminary and is an active church member.
